Dr. Vermillion has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA). She has 30 years of for-profit, non-profit and government leadership experience up to the level of Vice President.

Dr. Vermillion has taught graduate business, human resources and counselor education classes at the following universities: Pennsylvania State University, West Chester University in Pennsylvania and DeVry University. Classes taught related to this business initiative include leadership, managing change, group counseling, career counseling, and business communications.

She is a Competent Toastmaster (having completed the Communication and Leadership Program of Toastmaster International), a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Educational Specialist, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Certified Addiction Professional. She is a Past Graduate of Leadership Orlando in 2006, sponsored by the Central Florida Chamber of Commerce.

She is a member of the American Evaluation Association and the Southeastern Evaluation Association.
